Viewers of Jennifer Lopez‘s Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, may have been so invested in how Lopez passionately discussed her relationship with Ben Affleck that they missed one shocking element. In The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Lopez revealed Affleck kept all their love letters and emails to one another. The twist was that some were written while Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2004 to 2018.

“This book is a book Ben gave me on our first Christmas back together. It is every letter and email we wrote to each other from 20 years ago and today,” Lopez told her musical collaborators, showing them the large binder.

She shared that one note read “The Greatest Love Story Never Told by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 2001-2010…and counting…”

Looking at the timeline of Garner and Affleck’s relationship, by 2010, he and Garner had two children. They welcomed a third in 2012 after marrying in 2005.
