AMAZING POWER OF LOVE: Chiefs star Travis Kelce “hates” being apart from Taylor Swift, and Taylor has been thinking about moving away. See More
Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce has admitted he “hates” it when he’s apart from singing icon Taylor Swift.
Kelce is currently preparing for the 2024 NFL season with the Chiefs, when they’ll aim for an historic three-peat of Super Bowl triumphs
But the six months since the last season hasn’t meant a quiet time for Kelce in the headlines.
Indeed, he’s hardly out of the news due to his relationship with Swift.
He spent as much time as possible with her, including on Swift’s tour of Europe.
Indeed, he even joined her on stage at one concert at Wembley Stadium, in London.
Now it’s become apparent that Kelce is not a fan of when they have to go long distance.
Sources have claimed to Life & Style that Kelce “hates” it when the couple are apart.
“Obviously, he can’t skip out on training camp to follow her around and he doesn’t have more than a day off at a time,” one insider said.
“She’s got tour dates in Europe for the next month before she gets a nice long break, so it would make sense for her to just stay put and finish all her dates and do long distance with him for a few weeks
Swift has apparently even considered flying back to see Kelce in the short breaks between concerts.
Kelce has certainly not been shy in showering Swift with gifts in recent months, spending a reported $59,000 on fashion items.
They have included a $3,790 short double-face sleeveless dress and a glamorous number made of chantilly lace by Yves Saint Laurent, which costs $5,790.
The relationship between the famous pair has dominated the pages of newspapers and magazines, as well as the online world, since last year.
The singer attended a number of Kelce’s games last year as they once more went all the way to the Super Bowl.
She jetted back from a concert in the Far East to watch the 58th Super Bowl in Las Vegas, when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Since then, Kelce has signed a new two-year deal with the Chiefs worth $34.25 million.
Andy Reid’s team will attempt to do what no team has done before in the NFL, win three successive Super Bowls.
They start their campaign against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5th.
Swift meanwhile has been performing in concerts in Warsaw over the weekend.
She will be in Vienna for concerts this week, before heading back to London and a new set of concerts at Wembley.
Her tour will then not resume until November, with concerts in Toronto and Vancouver.
