Beyoncé and Jay-Z Step Out for Date Night After His Legal Victory in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Lawsuit (Exclusive)

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are spending an evening out following the producer’s legal victory.
On Sunday, March 16, the couple was seen on a date night in West Hollywood, per pictures exclusively obtained by PEOPLE. Their outing took place weeks after the lawsuit involving rape allegations made against Jay-Z, 55, were dropped.
The lawsuit, filed in October 2024 against Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleged that they raped a 13-year-old girl after she was driven to an MTV Video Music Awards after party in 2000 was voluntarily dismissed in mid-February.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the dismissal was filed by attorneys Tony Buzbee and Antigone Curis and stated that the Jane Doe who made said accusations “hereby gives notice that the above-captioned Action is voluntarily dismissed, with prejudice.”
Additionally, the lawsuit cannot be refiled.
“Today is a victory,” Jay-Z, whose legal name is Shawn Carter wrote in a statement shared on his company RocNation’s X account after the lawsuit was dropped.
“The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere. The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone.”
“The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.”
In response, Jay-Z has filed a defamation lawsuit against the unnamed accuser in March, claiming that the initial claim against him was “strategically and tactically calculated and time to inflict maximum pain and suffering.”
The court documents alleged that “Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Carter took turns assaulting the minor.”
Jay-Z has denied the allegations made against him. “My only heartbreak is for my family,” he said in a statement shared in December.
“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.” Jay-Z and Beyoncé, 43, share Blue Ivy, 13, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7½.
