Meghan Markle’s aspirations for a royal role reminiscent of a queen may not align with reality, according to insights from royal author Tom Bower.

The 42-year-old former “Suits” actress reportedly harbors a desire to reclaim a position within the British monarchy, even after relocating with Prince Harry to California.

Bower, renowned for his work on “Rebel Prince,” offered his perspective to Closer Magazine, contrasting Meghan’s ambitions with the seemingly content life of Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife.

He emphasized that Kate possesses everything Meghan once sought within the royal framework, highlighting her success, popularity, and a glowing public image.

“Kate is glowing, Kate is successful, Kate is popular, everything that Meghan wanted,” Bower told Closer Magazine.

Meghan had a plan which vastly differed from reality
When Meghan joined the royal family in 2018, she had envisioned doing things “her way,” but Bower emphasized that there’s only one accepted path.

“There’s only way and that’s the royal way,” he declared.

Prince Harry, currently fifth in line for the British throne, holds a position that Meghan hates, signaling a departure from her initial aspirations.

Since their move to the West Coast in 2020, Meghan and Harry have secured lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify, collectively valued at millions of dollars.

Despite these endeavors, Bower argued that Meghan’s actions have undermined her status and eroded her A-list appeal. The public spotlight, rather than providing the privacy she sought, seems to diminish her standing with each appearance.

Bower acknowledged the ongoing tension between the Sussexes, the Cambridges, and King Charles but suggested a potential resolution in the new year.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly seeking reconciliation with the 75-year-old monarch, with royal expert Ingrid Seward claiming that the couple hopes to reunite with King Charles in 2024.

Seward emphasized the importance of the royal blessing, suggesting that the Sussexes need the king more than he needs them.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Middleton and William, are reportedly not actively pursuing a reconciliation with Harry and Meghan.

A friend of Middleton’s revealed her focus on the future, stating that she has moved on, and both she and William are not looking back.
