After Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez broke up, they’ve both been linked to other people, with nothing quite panning out. Lopez was linked to Kevin Costner and Brett Goldstein, and Affleck was immediately at the center of dating rumors with RFK Jr’s daughter Kick Kennedy. But now, insiders allege Affleck officially has his eye on someone special: someone Lopez has once spoken about in a famous interview.

Sources alleged to DailyMail that Affleck has a “secret crush” on Angelina Jolie.

“Ben said that he always thought that she was very hot and has admired how she has navigated her career, he has called her smart,” they said. “He also thinks it’s pretty cool that she has directed films too, something he has done many times with The Town and Argo. They would certainly have a lot to talk about over dinner.”

Now, are they even pals? Well, they were photographed close together at the 2001 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and again at the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards in 2014 (pictured above), but haven’t been photographed together since.

As for Jolie and Lopez, they have crossed paths in certain A-list-packed locations like the 2024 Governors Awards, per NY Morning Star, and were seen chatting at the 2008 premiere of Paramount’s The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.

But Lopez even said once she feels like Jolie. During a chat on the New York City radio station Sirius XM via NDTV, she talked about how her blended family made her feel like Jolie and Jolie’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

“When we went out, it was like Angelina and Brad. We had that flavour and I loved it,” she said.

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002. However, they were broken up by 2004 after canceling their wedding days prior to it.

Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. However, they then filed for divorce in 2024. As of Feb 2025, they’re divorced, and now living their single lives again.
