“MUMMY, ARE YOU TIRED?” – Heartwarming Moment Princess Charlotte Cares for Mum Catherine in Wimbledon’s Sweltering Heat Touches Millions of Hearts. (EXCLUSIVE)

The mother and daughter pair were a master class at keeping cool in the summer heat at the Royal Box.
With the temperature reaching 81 degrees at the start of the match, the royals came prepared to beat the heat. Those seated in the exclusive Royal Box at Centre Court were seen fanning themselves, and at one point, Princess Charlotte was seen cooling her mom with her fan.
Photographer Karwai Tang, who caught the sweet moment on camera, tells PEOPLE that 10-year-old Charlotte briefly fanned Kate, who smiled but asked her daughter to stop after a moment.
“It was a lovely interaction,” Tang says.
Princess Kate, 43, arrived at Wimbledon with a sun hat in hand, wearing it for shade at points throughout the game.
Although hats are generally discouraged in the Royal Box, with Wimbledon’s official website stating that the headpieces “tend to obscure the vision of those seated behind them,” exceptions are made on particularly hot days. In fact, hats with a green and purple ribbon, representing the club’s official colors, are even provided to patrons on such occasions.
Although the Royal Box at Centre Court is typically off-limits to kids, given the limited space of 74 seats, exceptions are made for royal children. Prince George and Princess Charlotte have now attended the tennis tournament three times each, but their 7-year-old brother, Prince Louis, has yet to make his Wimbledon debut.
Despite Louis’ absence, his siblings came home with a special souvenir for him. Sinner signed tennis balls for George and Charlotte following his victory, and they had a third one signed for their younger brother.
“We brought one for their brother as well,” Kate told the athlete, to which William added with a grin, “Louis would be very upset otherwise.”
