Jennifer Lopez spoke about “resilience” following her split from estranged husband Ben Affleck.

The “On the Floor” singer, 55, took to Instagram on Monday, December 2, to reflect on playing Judy Robles in her 2024 film Unstoppable. “When I first learned about the true story behind Unstoppable, I was moved beyond words.

It’s a testament to resilience, grit and the human spirit,” she wrote alongside photos of her new Entertainment Weekly cover story, which captures her posing alongside costar Jharrel Jerome. “This film is a celebration of the fighters and the dreamers who refuse to give up, no matter the odds.”

Jennifer added that it was “such an honor playing Judy Robles in this incredible story about her son Anthony Robles.” She concluded, “Both Anthony and Judy are real examples and define what it means to be UNSTOPPABLE.”

She stars in the film as the mother of Anthony Robles, who pursued a career as a NCAA wrestler despite only having one leg.

While Jennifer was talking about the film in the caption, she was possibly also referring to her own resilience following her split from Ben, 52. Following months of split rumors, the Wedding Planner actress confirmed they called it quits when she filed for divorce in August.

Both Jennifer and Ben have kept low profiles following their split, though she broke her silence on the matter while speaking to Nikki Glaser in an Interview magazine profile published in October.
